The giants of truck racing are back at Donington Park for this weekend’s Convoy in the Park (12/13 August) featuring British Truck Racing Championship and International Truck Prix races and a lorry load of family activities.

If you’re coming, here's all the information you need to make the most of your visit to the venue.

Gate opening times

Public admission to the circuit is from 7.30am each day.

Parking

All public parking is free of charge. Please follow circuit signage on arrival.

Disabled parking

Blue badge holders are welcome to park at the dedicated disabled viewing area at Coppice corner, accessed via Coppice Gate. A dedicated disabled viewing suite will be open throughout the weekend too, at Lower Redgate. A shuttle buggy service is available from Coppice corner throughout the venue. Pick-ups can be arranged from Coppice, the Hollywood Grandstand and the Megastore. Please speak to a member of our team to request a buggy.

Starkey’s Parking

Spaces at Starkey’s Parking, overlooking the famous Craner Curves, Old Hairpin and Schwantz sequence of corners, is available to purchase for £8 per vehicle each day, subject to availability. All persons inside the vehicle will still require a valid entry ticket, and a car hangar will be provided to all purchasers.

Tickets

Advance ticket sales have now ended. Additional tickets will be available upon arrival at the venue, at the following prices:

Weekend Admission

Adults: £50

Teenagers (aged 13-15): £30

Senior citizens (65+): £40

Individual days

Adults: £32

Teenagers: £19

Senior citizens: £25

Under-13s go free all weekend.

If you have chosen to have tickets posted you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. If you haven’t received them, contact us urgently during midweek office hours at [email protected].

Print-at-home/e-tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven’t received yours, login to your MSV online account to access them – your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue.

All e-tickets can be printed or scanned from a mobile device.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Camping

There are a limited number of camping pitches still available for this weekend. The campsite will open at midday on Friday 11 August and close on Monday 14 August. Facilities will be provided to the relevant passholders during this time.

Adults are £38 and £24 for Teens (ages 13-15)

You must purchase a camping pitch ticket for your party. A camping pitch may contain up to 6 people. We still have availabilty in the Yellow Zone, (6m x 6m). Each pitch is £15.

The Outfield Campsite is located just outside the race circuit, near the Heritage Loop, a short walk to the paddock. On arrival at the main entrance, please follow signs to the campsite, where you will be greeted by our campsite team and issued with the relevant wristband. Click here to view a map of the campsite.

Food and drink

The Garage 39 café, bar and restaurant in the heart of the paddock will be open throughout the event, with a wide range of food, drinks and refreshments on offer. Garage 39 will open from 7.30am until late on Friday and Saturday and until an hour after racing concludes on Sunday.

There will also be mobile food outlets open around the circuit in the popular viewing areas.

Infield access

Access to the infield viewing areas this weekend will be via spectator tunnels in the paddock (beside Garage 39, the Esses and at Coppice).

Grandstand seats

Seating in the Hollywood Grandstand is available for £12 for adults and for £8 for under-16s, subject to availability. All tickets can be purchased directly from the grandstand.

Show Trucks

An impressive fleet of show trucks will be on display around Donington Park, mostly on the infield. Almost 1,000 trucks will be in attendance during the weekend and visitors will be able to get up close to each and every one.

There will be Show and Shine awards for a number of categories including the best truck of each brand and best fleet. These will be presented on the main stage at 14.30 on Sunday.

Exhibitors

A range of exhibitor and trade stands will be in attendance this weekend with the biggest truck brands you can think of all showcasing products and vehicles. For trader locations, see the map.

Live Action Arena

The Live Action Arena at Convoy in the Park will be packed with adrenaline-fuelled shows all through the weekend. There will be truck drifting, Red Dragon monster truck rides, American truck rides, a caravan smash, drift taxi rides and HGV driving, as well as F1 Stock Car and Rallycross demos. There’s live entertainment on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

Kids Zone

The Kidz Zone by Redgate will include a whole load of activities that can keep the little ones entertained all weekend long, featuring circus skills, Mini go karts, bouncy castles, bubble shows, a funfair and much more.

There’s a truck-load more going on at the event on both days including charity truck pulls and the Tug O War from Truckmate UK, live wrestling shows from Best Ever Wrestling, remote control trucks, a massive Scalextric track and even large roaming dinosaurs.

Cashpoint

There is a cashpoint on site, which is located in the Garage 39 reception area.

Radio Donington 94.3FM

Radio Donington will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale at the Donington Park Megastore for £12.

Gazebos and other structures

You are welcome to bring small, open fronted tents and other small outdoor structures (without sides) to general spectator areas, but we reserve the right to take down larger gazebos and other similar temporary structures if we consider them dangerous, or they obscure the views of others. Please be considerate to those around you and speak to a member of staff if you have any concerns.

Here to help

Excellent customer service is important to us, and all our staff are trained to help you make the most of your visit to the circuit. Whether you need assistance to find a lost child or to locate a disabled toilet, please ask one of the many uniformed staff you will see throughout the venue.

Security

The safety and security of all our visitors is paramount, so please be aware you may be subject to bag searches and security checks at our venue. We would also politely ask, as an additional security measure, that you put luggage tags on all of your bags detailing your name and mobile number, so that it can be easily identified. Please do not leave your bag or personal belongings unattended at any time

No dogs/animals permitted on site

No animals are permitted anywhere on site, with the exception of guide/assistance dogs. Please contact our call centre on 0344 225 4422 or email [email protected] during office opening times to advise if you will be bringing a guide/assistance dog.

Scooters/bicycles - prohibited in public areas

Please note that use of personal two-wheeled vehicles, including scooters, e-scooters and bicycles is strictly prohibited within public areas of the venue.

Please respect our neighbours

We kindly ask that all ticketholders driving to the circuit this weekend drive or ride carefully and considerately both when travelling to and leaving the venue.
