The Donington Historic Festival will run on the East Midlands circuit’s full Grand Prix circuit for the first time on Early May Bank Holiday weekend (Friday 2 – Sunday 4 May).

The event has previously run on the shorter National layout throughout its history, however event organiser Motor Racing Legends has taken the decision to switch to the extended configuration for an enhanced competitor and spectator experience.

This exciting development comes alongside confirmation of the event’s 2025 timetable which is available to view and download here. 17 races are scheduled across three days, with racing from Friday afternoon. Saturday night’s showpiece will see the Royal Automobile Club Pall Mall Cup race into the twilight, with a three-hour race set to finish just before eight o’clock.

Pierre-Antoine Lecoutour, CEO of Motor Racing Legends, said: “The experience for our drivers is always forefront in our minds when we’re considering our direction. We had a lot of conversations with entrants over the winter and from those conversations, we believe that the best racing, and the best driver experience, will come from using the Melbourne loop. Principally, it gives two more overtaking opportunities on the lap, but there are also plenty of benefits from running on a longer circuit.”

Tickets are available in advance at discounted prices with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s. Click here for more information.
