Harry George and Luca Hopkinson have been confirmed as the first GT4 drivers for the 2025 British GT Championship. The pair extend their partnership into a second season, making the switch to reigning champions Optimum Motorsport and their McLaren Artura GT4.

George and Hopkinson ended last year’s British GT season seventh overall in the standings and fourth of the Silver crews in what was Hopkinson’s debut season in the category. George will enter his third campaign in 2025, having previously raced in McLaren machinery.

Luca Hopkinson said: “I’m super excited to get to work with Optimum this year as I head into my second year in GT racing. I’m looking forward to carrying the momentum from the end of last year into 2025 with a good team and team-mate around me. We’ll give it our best shot!” 

Harry George said: This is my third year in British GT now, the first year we had some difficulties and last year was much improved with more regular podiums. With Luca now in his second year, and in a car I know well and a front running team, I’m optimistic we can run at the front of the grid this year. Can’t wait to get going!”
