The 2025 motorsport season at Donington Park kicks off this month, with thrilling racing action set to dominate the schedule for the next eight months. World-class motorcycle racing, Britain’s top championships and the country’s best club racing all feature on the busy schedule, which runs almost non-stop through to the end of October.
World Superbikes headlines the new year
The only UK round for the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship is Donington Park’s annual highlight with the planet’s leading superbike contenders set to thrill at the height of the summer (11-13 July) on the Grand Prix circuit.
Three headline WorldSBK races will pitch multiple world champions against the best of British, with numerous up and coming stars looking to join the fun. Champions Toprak Razgatlioglu (BMW), Alvaro Bautista (Ducati) and Jonathan Rea (Yamaha) will no doubt be amongst the lead scrap, but all eyes are currently on Bautista’s Italian teammate Nicolo Bulega, who marched to all three wins at the season opener in Australia.
This event is huge - tens of thousands of bike fans head to the East Midlands each year, and it offers unrivalled access, with spectators able to high-five the winning riders as they travel through Victory Lane, and join the podium celebrations at the Paddock Show stage.
A packed weekend of racing features more international categories and leading British series too. Fans can also camp over and make a full weekend of it, with loads to see and do throughout the event.
