Phil Keen will make the switch to the GT4 class for this year’s British GT Championship, teaming up with Jon Currie to drive Team Parker Racing’s Mercedes-AMG GT4.
Keen has more series wins than anyone else in the series with 19 GT3/overall and two class victories since making his debut in 2011. GT4 marks a new opportunity for Keen, having only two outings in the class in his 20-year career, both of which were back in 2012.
Full-season debutant Currie joins Keen after making his first appearance at Donington last season behind the wheel of Team Parker’s Mercedes-AMG.
Currie said: “I’m thrilled to be competing in my first full British GT campaign with Team Parker Racing. Last year’s experience at Donington gave me a taste of the championship, and I knew I wanted to come back for more. Having Phil as my teammate is a fantastic opportunity, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Keen added: “It’s great to be racing in British GT again, especially with Jon and Team Parker Racing. Jon has shown impressive progress, and I’m looking forward to helping him take the next step in his GT racing journey. The Mercedes-AMG GT4 is a strong car, and we’re aiming to be competitive from the start.”
The full-season GT4 duo join Endurance Cup contenders Ed McDermott and Seb Morris at Team Parker Racing this year.
